Position Summary
As a Licensed HVAC Gas Technician, you’ll be responsible for installing, commissioning, and servicing gas-fired and mechanical systems in commercial and industrial environments. You’ll handle everything from troubleshooting complex equipment to ensuring safe, compliant system operation.
This is a great opportunity for a motivated technician to work with a professional, safety-focused team on diverse, high-performance mechanical systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Service, maintain, and install boilers, rooftop units, unit heaters, make-up air systems
- Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on commercial and industrial gas system
- Troubleshoot combustion issues, gas flow, and control systems
- Work on VRF/VRV systems, including commissioning, troubleshooting, and optimization
- Perform combustion analysis, leak testing, and gas pressure adjustments
- Read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics
- Complete all service documentation and communicate with clients and team members effectively
- Ensure work complies with TSSA codes, OBC, and company safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid TSSA Gas Technician Licence (G1 or G2)
- 3–5 years of commercial or industrial HVAC experience
- Strong knowledge of boilers, burners, hydronic systems, and HVAC controls
- Experience with VRF/VRV systems, including setup and commissioning
- Valid G-Class driver’s licence with clean driving record
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently
- Professional attitude with a commitment to safety and customer satisfaction

Key Responsibilities
- Install, assemble, and maintain commercial and industrial plumbing and hydronic systems
- Work on boilers, chiller systems, heat exchangers, and process piping
- Read and interpret mechanical blueprints, schematics, and specifications
- Install valves, pumps, controls, and fixtures to precise standards
- Diagnose and troubleshoot performance issues in mechanical systems
- Ensure all work complies with TSSA, OBC, and health & safety standards
- Collaborate with foremen, project managers, and other trades to meet deadlines and client expectations
Qualifications
- Valid Ontario Plumbing Licence (306A)
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in commercial, high-rise, or industrial mechanical work
- Proven experience with hydronics, boilers, chillers, and process piping
- Ability to read and interpret complex mechanical drawings
- Strong understanding of piping materials, valves, and system layouts
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle

You’ll collaborate with an experienced team of professionals to ensure systems are installed safely, efficiently, and according to the highest standards and specifications.

- Install, repair, and maintain piping systems for heating, cooling, and process applications
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications
- Fabricate, thread, cut, and assemble pipe components
- Install valves, fittings, and supports to meet system requirements
- Conduct system testing for leaks, integrity, and performance
- Work independently or as part of a crew on various job sites
- Maintain a safe and organized work area in accordance with company and TSSA safety standards
Qualifications
- Licensed Pipefitter or Steamfitter certification (mandatory)
- 5+ years of experience in industrial or commercial pipefitting
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
- Strong knowledge of piping materials and installation methods
- Ability to read blueprints and work with minimal supervision
